This week we will wrap up our introduction study of electricity.
The Flashlight Lab is Due Friday 10/31. You should have the Directed Inquiry and the Open Inquiry (Build your own Flashlight) sections completed by the start of class on Friday. The lab will be graded on accuracy of the lab answers, functionality of the flashlight (does it work all the time), and innovative and creative design (a basic flashlight copied from an original flashlight is worth minimal points). Think about how you can make your flashlight innovative and creative. Would someone want to buy your product over a traditional flashlight?
If you are absent from class, you can take you supplies home to complete your flashlight. So that it is ready on Friday.
Thursday: We will have a comp quiz over the terms and equations we have covered so far in class regarding electricity. To prepare for this quiz review your notes and equations. You will have to do calculations of parallel and series circuits. Everyone will take this quiz on Thursday. This information is not new and you have already had practice with the calculations.
